Grandma Nancy and Grandpa Terry were here this weekend for a visit. Chef Harrison made lots of food for Grandma. He had some very progressive combinations...chocolate, corn, and french fries...grapes, eggs, and ice cream...and the service was a bit inconsistent but the initial reviews were good!Grandpa was more focused on the race track.
Sunday we went to Grandma and Grandpa Lichty's house to celebrate some birthdays. Harrison had to go into the "cave" with his helmet.
Below were our cooks for the evening! Luckily Harrison was practicing earlier in the day!
Harrison is always willing to help with birthday tasks...particularly opening presents...

Weekend Project
When we first moved into our house, Harrison's room was bright pink. We painted the room after a month or two but this weekend we finally took the last of the pink out of Harrison's room...the chandelier had to go!
Harrison had to help Grandpa and dad take down the old light and put up the new one.
Lately I have been forgetting my camera. I mean, what are we going to do if we miss documenting every moment of Harrison's life! Saturday night we had a fun dinner at the Hynes' with Ellen doing a great job of babysitting. Sunday, we took Harrison's buddy Evan with us to an indoor play area at the Eden Prairie Community Center. The Hanson's met us there too. It was great! There was NO ONE else there!!! Literally, for the majority of the time, it was just the 3 kids! They had a blast!

Irish Eyes are Smiling!
Who like's St. Patrick's Day???? I do, I do!!!
I think St. Patrick's Day might rival Christmas as Harrison favorite day of the year! He was decked out (thanks to Auntie Suzanne) today celebrating his Irish heritage! (Let's not forget Fitzgerald is his middle name!)
Grandma and Grandpa O'Lichty took Harrison to the parade in St. Paul. We aren't quite sure who had more fun!
Harrison met some interesting folks...
He loved marching and clapping with the bands.
Just too cute!
He had to rest up for the old Irish tradition of Shamrock shakes!

Mommy & Fitzie Weekend!
While Daddy was enjoying a weekend skiing with friends, Fitzie and Mommy had some quality time. Friday night we had pizza and movie night with the McConnell girls since their daddy was skiing too! Reese and H watched Finding Nemo! (I took the pictures this weekend on my phone so they are not the best quality.
Saturday was an action packed day! We went to the Xcel center to watch the Hermantown Hawks play in the Class A state hockey championship game. Unfortunately, the Hawks lost but we had fun catching up with friends! Harrison loved clapping with the band and cheering when the crowd cheered. His favorite part was watching the Zamboni!
After the game, we stopped to see Uncle Pat and Auntie Karla who were in town from Iowa. On Saturday night, Harrison and I went to a "Soup Party". The kids ate pasta but the adults got to sample 8 different soups and rate the best one. All I can say is YUMMY! I didn't get any pictures but Harrison was a trooper! He only had a short nap and was up until 10:00 but we had a great time! Unfortunately, Harrison favorite car was lost at the party so we had to do a quick trip to Target on Sunday to replace it. The rest of the day we are just chilling at home resting up from our busy Saturday!

Sleds!
We headed out to Baker Park to enjoy a nice winter morning! Harrison enjoyed his cozy ride while mom and dad enjoyed getting in some exercise!
From one sled to another. Harrison couldn't wait to head down the sledding hill!
Mommy and Fitzie's turn! Back up the hill...
(Don't let this picture fool you, Harrison walked about 5 feet before getting back in the sled to be pulled up the hill.)
...and down again!Time to celebrate the season! Shamrock shake season that is! H is a big fan!
