Sushi Dinner!

We consider ourselves pretty lucky that Harrison is such a good eater.  He is always willing to try things and he is really not picky...he just doesn't like "spicy".  When he asked us if we could have sushi (well, he actually asked for shu-she) for dinner...we figured...why not?  We just got some supermarket sushi and brought it home to see what he thought.  He was very daring!

He did a great job trying different pieces.  Some of them he liked more than others.  He said he wanted to do it again!
Matt and Harrison did a little project on Sunday and built a boat out of a box.  Harrison was a kind big brother and decided that Quinn needed to be in a lifeboat next his boat...Quinn thought that it was great!

Just a couple extra pictures of Miss Q because she is pretty cute when she wants to be!

Celebrating and Shredding

A year ago my friend Jessica had a baby 7 weeks early...sending me into a panic that I was going to have my baby early.  Well, I didn't go 7 weeks early (only 5).  It has been amazing watching these girls that were so little thrive into toddlers!  Happy birthday Audra!

Harrison picked up a skate board this weekend.  After a quick trip to get some much needed elbow and knee pads...he was off to show us his "tricks".
He is slowly learning to balance.

But he is finding other ways to use the board too!

Stepping Stones!

Harrison started his Pre-K classes this fall at Stepping Stone.  It was a little sad for mom and dad since it is part of an elementary school...he is growing up too fast!!!  His first day he woke up at 5:15 and said that he couldn't sleep any more because he was too excited.  He has gone two days and LOVES it!

Not to be forgotten...Miss Q keeps taking steps of her own!  She is very mobile and gets where she wants QUICK.  She is also pulling herself up and walking around furniture...not ready for all of this activity at 10 months!

Many Blessings!

Quinlan Grace was baptized on August 29th.  We were lucky that Pastor Kalland from Mount Olivet was available was able to accommodate our non-traditional time for the baptism.  It was small group but it was a very special ceremony.  Quinn did great!

We were very excited that the Aunt DeDe and Uncle Brian were able to join us for the ceremony and dinner!

The DC Uncle and Auntie Suzanne are the proud God Parents!

 A fun dinner...followed!

Harrison was happy to help Quinn with the gifts.

Grandma, Grandpa, and Uncle took H out to the state fair!

Last weekend, Harrison and I joined Grandma and Grandpa on a trip down to St. Louis for Uncle Matt's graduation.
Congratulations Uncle Matt!
The highlight of the trip was seeing cousin Noland!  The boys went running towards each other with open arms and almost fell over hugging when they first saw each other!  While in STL, we checked out their Science Museum.  The boys got Grandma Nancy to go in the tornado simulator with them!

Movie time!

Lots and lots of swimming!

Cousins and buddies!

More Cabin Fun!

Harrison capped out his summer cabin tour with a trip to the Lichty cabin!  H enjoyed a lot of fun water activities!

He also enjoyed nightly fires (and marshmallows) with Auntie Suzanne and Grandma!
Harrison got home from the cabin in time for his soccer practice.  He loved it!

Miss Quinn wanted to get out on the field with her brother!
Last Sunday we celebrated Grandma & Grandpa Lichty's 45th wedding anniversary!

Uncle David was in town from Texan all week to enjoy the festivities!  He brought the kids gifts from all his travels!
