Halloween, Part One

OK, this first picture is not Halloween but it was pretty cute! Harrison loves the riding lawn mower!
Our Halloween kicked off with a package from Grandpa Terry and Grandma Nancy! All Treats!
Friday brought a Halloween party at daycare. He was so excited to wear his costume there.

All the kids decorated their treat bags. Harrison loves stickers!
Saturday Harrison attended a Halloween party at his buddy Thomas' house. Fun activities included pin the nose on the pumpkin....
....and ghost hunting (where the kids find the hidden ghosts and put them in the bag)....

...and fishing for spiders! The kids also decorated mini pumpkins.

Of course there was a little bit of cooking too!
Thanks Flynns for a very fun morning!!!

2 Year Pics!

Although we got these done almost 2 months ago, I am finally getting them posted. Harrison was not cooperating very well the day of the shoot but we did manage to get a couple of pics.

And of course Harrison's real personality came out too...

Fall Fun!

Last weekend we took advantage of the continues nice weather and checked out a working farm about 45 minutes from our house. Harrison was quick to jump on the tractor when we got there!
I think the highlight for Harrison was the hayride because Farmer Bob allowed everyone to pick out an ear of popping corn and a gourd.
Farmer Bob also let everyone sample a root vegetable Manga...of course Harrison was quick to try it!
Luckily the goats were behind fence so there were no repeats of the goat incident at the zoo that happened last fall.
We picked out a pumpkin but the squirrels have been eating it!
This weekend we headed up to a resort with the McConnell and Black families. A great time had by all! We had a 6 bedroom cabin at Breezy point and it worked our perfect...plenty of room for everyone.

Fueling up for a busy day!
Mid morning dance party!
Harrison breaking out his best moves!
Check out the water...it was cold!
Reese McConnell and Harrison decided to use the buddy system.
All the kids LOVED the pool! It was great because the littler kids could be in the kiddie pool by themselves.
In the evening, the guys build a great fire for roasting marshmallows.
A great weekend of family fun!
Sunday, Harrison hosted his cousins Isaac, Maddie, and Reilly for the Vikings game. (Their parents came along too!)

We couldn't convince H to wear his jersey (he insisted on his dinosaur sweatshirt) but Isaac sported his support for the team!

Maddie was a good leader for the crazy boys!

Yes, more fire trucks!

At the risk of being "Fire Department Open House" groupies, we headed over to the City of Hopkins fire house.
This time, they allowed all ages to ride the fire trucks. Harrison had a smile the whole time!

Harrison also liked using the fire hose!We met up with Grayson Hatlestad for part of the morning. The boys waited patiently for the truck rides (with the help of a little ice cream!)
What a great way to spend a beautiful fall day!

A week in review...

The City of Minnetonka had a Police and Fire Department Open House and Harrison was in HEAVEN! He finally got to see a fire trucks!
Our friend "Fireman Rod" game Harrison an up close look!
Harrison got right behind the wheel of the police car.

I think the highlight might have been seeing the Life Flight helicopter take off!
I was so impressed with the open house. So much stuff to see and do!
On Sunday, I ran the Twin Cities 10 miler. Although my training was limited, it was the perfect fall day for a run.My Fan Club was up bright and early to cheer me on! I am thankful for their support for the race and in life in general!
Harrison was very excited to see me run up but got upset what I rejoined the race. Grandpa Terry's birthday was last week and Harrison was really excited to sing happy birthday and blow out the candles. When he woke up and saw the cake on the counter, he tried to pull it down. Although we caught the cake before it went all the way down, the cake was damaged a bit.
We were still able to sing and blow out the candles!

Of course the best part was eating the cake!
