Harrison thinks all the new boxes for climbing are really fun! He doesn't know why some say "fragile" and that means he shouldn't jump on them. One of his new favorite spot to play is under the table. I think he is pretending the legs are horses and he rides them.

Family Weekend!
Harrison had a VERY busy weekend! Uncle Andy, Uncle Matt, Aunt Callie, Cousin Noland, Grandma Nancy and Grandpa Terry were all in town! We had a ton of fun with everyone but are very tired tonight!
Harrison LOVES playing with his cousin Noland. Noland isn't as fond of playing with Harrison...probably because Harrison's version of playing involves going to take any toy that Noland has in his hand. I think we might need to work on sharing...
On Saturday, we hosted a party for Matt and Callie for Minnesota friends and family that could not make it down to St. Louis for the wedding. It was a fun day! (About 40 degrees cooler than their actual wedding day.) We tried to take a picture with the four boys who are all the great grandchildren of my grandma and her sister. In case anyone is wondering, it is a bit challenging to get a 1 year old, an 18 month old, a 2 year old and an 7 year old to all be seated and smiling for a picture.
So we ended up with just one of Harrison and Colin...at least we go one cute photo!I can only image what words of advice Uncle Andy was giving to Harrison!
Harrison took a liking to the bean bag toss. Looks like he'll bring home more $ than his dad from playing bags with the guys! Auntie Suzanne was there to cheer Harrison along. (Please note Harrison standing! He stands and takes a few steps now but then drops down to crawl so he can move faster...he's got places to go!) Harrison thought since we were all distracted he could sneak out of the party.
Little did he know that Aunt Callie was quick enough to get him!
My cousin Adam thought Harrison's Noah's Ark was fun once Harrison showed him how it worked. Harrison also showed Grandpa Terry how it worked too...you put the shapes in the boat...over and over and over...

All the single ladies...
Our good friends Jorn and Stacie Pung were in Minnesota visiting from DC and brought their sweet girls over to play for the day. Harrison loves the ladies! Stacie and I have been friends since 1st grade so it is so much fun to see our kids playing together!

Super Baby!
Friday we had a fun dinner with our friends to Flynns. Harrison and Thomas are only a couple months apart. They are destined to be best friends since their parents have so much in common!Harrison received some Superman pj's (complete with cape) from Eric for his birthday. We are hoping they bring him the super power to sleep until 8:00 tomorrow!

Political unrest...
So there is a strict "no talking politics" rule in the Lichty house. So when I opened one of the birthday gifts Uncle Andy sent for Harrison, I wasn't really sure what to do. I definitely wanted to show our appreciation for Uncle Andy remembering H's big day but doing so would violate the rule. So since Matt was gone for the evening, I took Harrison outside and put on Uncle Andy's gift. Since he was in the backyard and it was a dead president (I like to think of Reagan as more of a Historical Figure than a political figure anyway), I am pretty sure I was within guideline.

Something must be funny...
Harrison finds his parents mildly amusing. He finds himself somewhat amusing. Harrison finds our neighbor Ellen dropping magnets on the floor VERY amusing!
