Our history buff!

Harrison and I spent the weekend in DC visiting family.  H has been very into history, particularly the presidents so this visit was very exciting!

On Saturday, we drove out to a second branch of the Air and Space Museum call Udvar-Hazey.  The highlight there was one of the retired space shuttles.
Next we checked out the Battle of Bull Run.
A stop at the Jefferson Memorial on the way home.  The cherry blossoms were in full bloom but didn't get a good picture of it.

So fun to see cousin Beatrix!  She was happy to show H her favorite bakery!
Sunday was "Lincoln Day"...starting off at the Lincoln Memorial.

Then we toured Ford's Theater and the house were Lincoln died.

Our cousin Beth works at Folger's Shakespeare Theater in DC.  We were lucky enough to be there for the big event celebrating Shakespeare's 451 birthday! Lots of fun stuff like making shields.

In the theater they had a display on Longitude that included "Harrison Time Keepers"
Of course a little dress up...
But the best part was the cake!
Quick stop at Iwo Jima memorial and Arlington.
The finale was watching Star Wars!

Spring Sneak Peak

Daddy was skiing one weekend so Grandma Nancy came to visit and help out.  We decided to head over the Como zoo.  So nice to be there when it isn't so busy!

The conservatory was in full spring bloom!  It look amazing! (Unfortunately, after this photo the conservatory lost a flower, Q decided to pick one for me.)

Prepping for our spring break trip!  Q got her first pedicure!
Packing for the trip!
Off to Mexico!  Harrison and Luke Hanson thought it was a lot of fun they got to sit together!
Time for some fun in the sun! I haven't downloaded most of the pictures so just a few for now.  Our room was perfect!  Loved looking out at the ocean!

Little fish! Everyone tried snorkeling!  Cozumel has amazing reefs and fish...right off shore!

Q decided that she liked feeding the fish better than swimming with them.

 Q favorite spot!
A little spoiled by Tracie!  Lounging, listening to the ocean, and getting for toes done!
They went strong all day and crashed each night!

Headed home! Such a fantastic trip!  I will post more soon!

We were home from Mexico in time for Easter...and the kids still like each other!
