Winter Vacation!

It was four days full of fun and relaxation. Beverages and snacks were served quickly upon each request. There was some lounging, lots of books, fun conversation, swimming and a stroll to look at some tropical fish and sharks. I am not talking about the 4 days Matt and I just spent in Jamaica....I am describing Harrison's four days with Grandma Nancy and Grandpa Terry! Unfortunately, we don't have pictures from G & G's visit but all reports are that a great time was had by all! (Including mommy and daddy...here are a couple pics from our vacation!)

Lots of love!

Harrison LOVES to have play dates with Thomas and that is what he did on Saturday!
At least the playdate was set up with Thomas but Harrison ended up playing trains with Mike!
Baby Olivia got lots of kisses from Harrison! He LOVES that baby!
He kept giving her pretend milk and water in a cup from his play kitchen.
Harrison and T liked watch movies of the two of them playing together when they were 1.
They ended the play time with a mini bookclub!
Valentine's Day! Or as H says "Balentines". Auntie Suzanne made sure he was properly outfitted for the day.
He made a bag for all his goodies at daycare.
Grandma Nancy and Grandpa Terry sent a box full of goodies!

He was particularly excited about the new "Car-Toons" movie.
Our true LOVE!

Blades of steal...

Just a couple of quick picks from the skating date last weekend with Maggie Hanson. Not sure these two are destined for Olympic gold in pairs figure skating but seemed to have fun for the 5 minutes they were skating! (Should I mention it took us 20 minutes to get them ready to go skating...)

Super Weather!

Saturday brought us 30 degree temps so we tried to take advantage of it. On Lake of the Isle they were holding a luminary loppet (check it out at http://www.startribune.com/galleries/). It was soooooo cool! There were thousands of luminaries lining a ski path and little stations with hot chocolate and cookies. We didn't ski it this year but next year for sure! Harrison loved running on the lake and looking in each luminary and proudly reporting that there was a candle in there.
You can just ignore my goofy hat!

We met the Hoffman family out there for a while. Harrison loved chasing Tyler (and stopping for cookies with him.)

Sunday brought the Hanson family over for brunch and ice skating. Maggie and H are such good buds!
Our camera ran out of batteries while skating so all we have is a picture of Luke enjoying the skating show. (Tracie took some pics so I will post them once she sends them over.)
Sunday evening we went over to the McConnell's house (along with the Hatlestads) to watch the Super Bowl. Harrison actually did watch some of the game but he mostly liked playing with all of the toys and of course eating the yummy snacks!

Wild Winter Weekend

Since this snow doesn't seem to be going away any time soon, we decided we might as well enjoy it! We went out to Baker National to go snow shoeing and pulled H is a ski sled. We all had a great time!

Saturday night Matt was at a Wild Game Dinner with some of his friend and Harrison had some wild games at our house! (i.e. The ladies had dinner and wine at our house while the the kids played.)
Sunday night we had one of our Sunday night dinners with the cousins! We split time watching the pro bowl and the SAG Awards.
We missed cousin Isaac's 1st birthday due to illness and snow so we were finally able to give him his present.

Harrison and I made waffle Sunday morning (thus the pj's and bed-head). He was singing away so I tried to get some of it on film but he didn't fully cooperate.
