Trucks!

While we were on our Blogging Hiatus, the city of Hopkins had a Vehicle Fair and we thought it would be heaven for Harrison! Unfortunately, we kept telling him there would be a fire truck but when we got there the fire truck had been called away to an emergency. Luckily there were lots of other trucks to see and drive. (He did keep asking for the fire truck though...)
Several of Harrison's buddies were at the event too..Jack, Thomas, & Simon! These guys all share the mutual interest in trucks!

I really hope that this is the only time Thomas and Harrison end up in the back of a police car together!

Inside the community center, we ran into Simon from ECFE!
Harrison really liked the stickers the ambulance drivers were giving out. So much so, he went back a few times to get one!

Great New Park

As part of our catching up posts, I thought I'd share these shots from a great park we went to a couple weeks ago with the Hatlestads. Harrison had a great time trying to keep up with 7 year old Lincoln and 3 year old Grayson!

The best part of the park was the rip cord. People of all ages had fun on it!

It is good to be back!

Lichty's are back...back again! We finally have a computer again. We did get the Mac Book and so far so good!

I will do a catch up post sometime this week because just because our computer was down and out, it doesn't mean he was!

Today was finally a nice autumn day so we headed out to Minnetonka Orchards. It is everything that Harrison loves...a train, tractor rides, and a petting zoo! Harrison was so excited, he didn't even wait for us when we got there.
It is a little early for pumpkins but Harrison was scoping them out.

Harrison led us through the cornmaze. Luckily we all made it out!

Of course Harrison had to check out the train...each car on the train.
I think the hay ride was the highlight of the day for Mr. H. He was loving the tractor pulling the wagon.
H also loved petting the cow. When I asked him about petting the "little cow" he quickly corrected me and said it was a "baby cow" not a "little cow".

Playdate with Grandpa Terry!

Grandpa Terry did an all day babysitting session while I went to St. Louis with Grandma Nancy to see my sister in law and nephew and Matt was in a golf tournament. I am not sure who had more fun (or who was more tired)! When I would call to see how things were going, I would hear Harrison in the background saying "Come on Grandpa, Come on!". They went to the park , mowed the lawn on a big riding lawn mower, golfed, went for trike rides...the list is endless. The highlight of the day was Harrison going to Toro's headquarters to climb on the tractors!

(Side note...we will hopefully get our new computer this weekend...I think we settled on a Mac so hopefully I will know how to use it!)

Tumble Tots!

I am relying on my friend Megan for pictures since we still haven't figure out what is wrong with our computer.
We started our new tumbling class on Monday night. Harrison and his buddy T loved running wild there and it is the perfect place to burn off some energy! H's favorite part was jumping off the balance beam into the big mat. He also liked the sticker he got at the end of class. (He did put the sticker in his hair which resulted in a big clump of hair loss but I think he learned his lesson on that one!)

RIP Lichty Family Computer....

We had a WONDERFUL weekend full of a Vehicle Fair, a new park, some new toys, and lots of fun outside. We would love to show you all the fun that Harrison had but our computer at home is having some major technical difficulties and I think it has caugh a virus that it will ultimately make us pull the plug. Hopefully you'll all stay tuned as Matt and I debate whether we should get a new PC or a Mac.

You'll have to use your imaginations for now. (I must say, Harrison has been particularly cute lately so I hope to be able to post pics next week!)

No Labor, Just Play!

We had a pretty low key weekend but enjoyed out final days of summer. (Even though the weather definitely made us know that fall is on its way!)
Harrison had a playdate at the park with Jack. They burned off a lot of energy!
H especially liked the train!

When Harrison woke up from his nap on Sunday, the picture below is what he saw out the window.
There was no holding him back from the bouncy house. Luckily, we were soon headed across the street to the Burggraff's house for an "end of summer" party! Fun was had by kids and adults!
To cap off the weekend, Thomas came over for a playdate. Since the bouncy house was still up, they decided to go check it out!
