Uncle Andy's visit!

Get comfortable because this is going to be a long post...Harrison had a pretty busy weekend!

Uncle Andy was visiting from DC and took Harrison on some fun adventures! One day they went to the Splash Pad. He was a little apprehensive about the Splash Pad last week but this week he loved it!

On Saturday evening, we had a dinner to celebrate Grandpa Terry and Grandma Nancy's 40th Anniversary with the Young side of the family.
Cousin Natalie was visiting from Hawaii.
Sunday Grandpa, Uncle Andy, and daddy put up a playset that a neighbor gave us.
It needs a little work but Harrison didn't seem to mind!

After working up an appetite, we headed to our old family favorite Matt's Bar (that is the actually name and not just Matt's favorite bar) for Juicy Lucy's. Harrison preferred the french fries....
The VanDyke family made the journey down from North Branch to join us for Juice Lucy's as well!
The weekend with Uncle Andy was capped off by a visit to the zoo! Harrison was too enthrawled with the animals to bother to smile for the camera.
One other note...Harrison has a new favorite food...corn on the cob! Last week he spent a couple of nights in Duluth with Grandma and Grandpa and discovered this fine delicacy!

Harrison also wants to send a big Congratulations out to Uncle Matt and Auntie Callie who are celebrating their 1st anniversary this past weekend. We love you!

Celebrating Daddy!

We spent Father's Day on a bike ride along the river and lunch in the warehouse district. It was perfect weather for the outing. Auntie Suzanne and Grandpa Mike joined us on the adventure! The bike ride included a stop at Target Field and a chance for Auntie Suzanne to show H the Golden Glove!

Happy Father's Day from your little buddy!

Hitting the Gym!

Harrison started his tumbling classes tonight at Mini-Hops. He loved it!
We started out with a warm up... Matt and I didn't realize we would get a workout too!
Harrison especially like the trampoline. "Jump! Jump! Again!" I could hardly keep up with him on the circuit!
Harrison was a little monkey climbing in every direction!

His neighborhood buddy Jack was also in the class.
The grand finale of the class was jumping into "The Pit". Harrison couldn't wait to jump in!

All in a row!

Daddy was gone most of the weekend so H had some quality Mommy-time!

It was raining on Saturday so we headed to the Minnesota Children's Museum. It was awesome and we will definitely go back!
The special exhibit was "The Wizard of Oz" so H did some farming in Kansas.

H couldn't quite understand that he isn't tall enough to reach the pedals but want to bike with Toto in the basket.
They have an area where the kids can dance in front of a blue screen and see themselves on video rocking out to various songs. Harrison did some air guitar to "All Star" and "The Wheels on the Bus".
Harrison did some grocery shopping in the little store.

After singing "Wheels on the Bus", H liked driving the bus!
While mommy enjoyed some adult beverages and conversation, H enjoyed a movie with his buddies Evan and Mila.
Sunday brought dinner with the cousins! Maddie climbed in the toy box and the rest wanted to join right in!
Thanks to some very generous neighbors, Harrison got a tool bench! He was very excite to try it out next to Daddy's tool bench!
It has a saw that makes noise and spins when the board is pressed against it.

Parties Galore!

Harrison had a busy weekend on the party circuit!

Friday night he attended a neighborhood bonfire. He and neighbor Nora are six months apart so he pretty much just follows her around and tries to do everything she does. Saturday started off with the graduation party of our old neighbor Greg Hynes followed by an afternoon surprise 40th birthday party for Vicki Swenson. After a quick nap, Harrison was ready to help Grandma Grace celebrate her 93rd birthday!

Sunday we had one more graduation party before crashing for the weekend! I think Harrison ate more cookies and cake last weekend than he has in his entire life! Oh well, we were happy to celebrate all the milestones of those we love!

Fun with my buddy!

Harrison had a fun play date with his bestie Thomas "T" on Monday. A perfect day for a walk to the park!I don't think the boys stopped moving for 1 minute while they were together! But they both love books and did manage to climb on Megan for a little story time!
